was born on May 22, 1948.
She is survived by her daughters Robin (late Terry) Haaksma, Kelly (Adam) DeYoung, her
grandchildren Katrina Haaksma, Heidi Haaksma, Megan Haaksma, Elizabeth Deyoung,
Samantha DeYoung, and Joey DeYoung.
Jane will be remembered for her compassionate heart and loving generosity. Jane was
grounded in her faith and a committed follower of Christ her entire life. Her faith guided her in
everything. She even had the opportunity to make a trip to Israel and was baptized in the
Jordan River. She spent several years working as an in-home health care aide, and had a
special gift working with the elderly. She truly enjoyed having fun in life, walking the beach, and
roller skating. She loved her ice tea with no ice. She loved surprising others with blessings,
especially in the form of written cards. She was a loving mother and adored her grandchildren.
She will be missed by many.
