William "Bill" F. Eilers

William “Bill” Francis Eilers, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the age of 96 of natural causes. He was born in Guthrie, OK to Francis Henry and Clara Bernadine Eilers.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After the war, he attended Oklahoma A & M (now Oklahoma State University). Later, Bill and his family moved to Texas where he worked for LTV for 38 years. He lived in Irving and Grand Prairie.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; three sons, Fred, Richard and Steve; his brother Fred, and his sister Pat. He is survived by daughter, Kathy, three sons, Frank, Joe and John; and his sister Mary.

A visitation for William will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. His funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2910 Corn Valley Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. The committal will immediately follow at 1 pm at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
