Pauline Alice (Berry) Hall was born on September 4, 1915 in Monterey Township, Michigan. She was the only child of Frank Berry and Clara (Baker) Berry. Throughout her 102 years of life, Pauline witnessed great change. From the days of horse drawn buggies, life on a farm, homemade dresses, pail lunches, wash tub baths, wood cook stoves and entertainment ‘round the old radio - to the utilization of the telephone, television and 45 records, the automobile, washing machine and the electric oven, the first drive-in movie theater, the first man on the moon, and the employment of the atomic bomb. She survived the Great Depression, saw women’s suffrage, lived through two world wars, the assignation of President John F. Kennedy, witnessed man’s first steps on the moon, and was amazed by the digital revolution. She loved sewing, writing and receiving letters, baking, canning and traveling. She always said she was blessed to have traveled to all 50 states, which was a dream of hers.
Pauline loved life, but her greatest legacy was her love for her family and friends. In 1949 she married her husband, Earl Reagan Hall of Rockwall, TX. And together, they raised a son and became both grandparents and great-grandparents in their 49 years together. Pauline was a devoted wife- full of patience, and with a gentle, soft-spoken way; a wonderful mother- caring, devoted, loving unconditionally; and she was an amazing grandmother- always there to listen and encourage, ever loving, ever giving and forgiving. Faithfully, she cared for her loved ones. Until very late in her life, she loved to spend time on the telephone, talking with her closest friends. She was loved by all who knew her and she could light up the room with her smile.
Pauline ended her journey here on this earth on Good Friday, March 30, 2018 and was carried into eternity to live forever with her Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Clara Berry of Grand Prairie, TX and her husband, Earl Reagan Hall of Grand Prairie, TX. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Duane Hall and Marie Hall of Grand Prairie, TX; two grand-daughters- Sabrina Ladd and her husband, grandson Robert Ladd of Copperas Cove, TX; Angela Dobbins of Anna, TX; grandson George Wall of Anna, TX; four great-grandchildren- Cassandra Bailey and husband, Mark Bailey of Tulsa, OK; Rebecca Wall of Anna, TX; Matthew Wall and Andrew Wall of Copperas Cove, TX; and two great-great- grandchildren- Keenan Bailey and Naomi Bailey of Tulsa, OK. Her Chapel Service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Visitation preceding from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery, Rockwall, TX.
