Margie Louise Fountain passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving children.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday, July 11, in Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. Margie was born March 27, 1937, in Palmer to Jay and Novie Ramsey. She was raised in Grand Prairie, where she met and married J.T. Fountain. She had a few careers. They owned a furniture store in the mid-1970s. She then became a realtor for awhile, then had a car title business from which she retired in 1995. She attended Grand Prairie High School. She will be missed by many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Novie Ramsey, and the love of her life, J.T. Fountain. \Survivors: Son, Kirk Fountain and wife, Tammy; daughter, Kelly Fountain Sparks; grandchildren, Mandi Fountain Vergara and husband, Erik, Dusty Fountain and Kacey McMahon; great-grandchildren, Shelbie Vergara, Emily and Austin McMahon; brother, Charles Ramsey; sister, Linda Messamore and husband, Johnny; and several nieces and nephews.
