Lena Lou Moore - Linex

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gotcher and Bonnie Moore, brother Jerry Moore, and sisters Twila Moore and Glenda Tallant.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Chester Linex, son Scott Linex, son Kenneth Linex and wife Amy, and daughter Lisa Linex Kelley and husband Patrick. She had six grandchildren whom she adored, Brittany Symank Perez, Christopher Symank, Emily Symank, Kyrstin Linex, Calib Linex, and Allison Kelley. She also had four beautiful great-grandchildren, Giovanni Galarza, Amanda Limas, Mjolnir V Limas, and Brynlee Symank.

Lena enjoyed spending time with her family and her Friday night dinners with her long-time friends from high school. She also loved going to the casino in Oklahoma and playing the slot machines. She was a very caring person who will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at the Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home located at 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a brief service at the National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas beginning at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday January 8, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Heart Association in Lena’s memory.
