Emma Romero Garcia

Emma R Garcia passed away on July 5, 2024 to join her loving husband, Rudy, on no other than his birthday. She is preceded in death by her husband, son Rudy Jr, her sisters Lupe, Delia and Enedelia, and revered parents. Her final moments were spent peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family.

Emma’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her sons Guadalupe and Robert (Rosa), and daughter in law, Belinda Garcia. Grandchildren Robert Jr, Daniel, Esteban, Adrian, Michael, Stephanie, Evelyn, Eli, Megan and Adam, along with their respective spouses, 13 great-grandchildren. Plus, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Emma was known for her radiant smile and her love of dancing to Tejano and mariachi music. She cherished the friendships she made throughout the years, many of whom have already preceded her in death. It brings great comfort to her family to know that Emma must have received a grand welcome at the pearly gates.

In celebration of Emma's life, a small memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, located at 733 Dalworth St., Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
