Dylan was fascinated with computers at an early age. He played t-ball and coach-pitch baseball, also youth soccer. Entering junior and senior high school, he played clarinet in the band. He greatly loved high school marching band for the camaraderie and spending time with his friends.
Dylan and his father fished together and attended Dallas Cowboy and Texas Ranger games. They would laze around on weekends and watch golf. They talked about movies and would go together to see the ones that interested him. They attended the 2006 and 2011 NBA Finals together. When he first started going to games at around eight or nine years old he was more fascinated with the stats on the scoreboard, but soon became a big fan.
Dylan's name means "son of the sea". When Dylan, his mom, and his brother went to Vancouver on vacation they took a whale watching tour. He loved being on the boat and so enjoyed watching the whales breach.
His dad's proudest moments were being in the birthing room when Dylan was born, coaching his soccer and baseball teams, attending his high school and college graduations, and being Mr. Mom Friday to Sunday when his mother was on 3-day trips with American Airlines. It built an unbreakable bond with both his sons.
His mom's proudest moments were All of them.
We were always proud parents who supported Dylan any way we could.
