Chek Foo passed away peacefully in his home in Dallas, Texas, on December 4th, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Those closest to him called him Fuji. A nickname given to him as a young boy who became a mountain of a good person.

He is survived by his lovely wife, Rosanelda; his cherished daughters, Lindsey and Kimberly; his son-in-law, Anthony; and his beloved granddaughter, Camila, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his two dear sisters, Serina and Muiling, along with their families.

Chek was a brilliant man with a gift for languages, speaking six fluently- a testament to his intelligence, lifelong curiosity, and desire to connect with people across cultures.He built a distinguished career as a Senior Revenue Accountant at Hunt Oil Company, where he dedicated 19 years before retiring. Chek took immense pride in his work and formed many friendships with his colleagues.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Chek was a devoted community volunteer, giving his time and talents to causes close to his heart. His generosity and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone he met, and his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.

Chek also treasured the camaraderie he shared with his brothers from The St. Paul Institution in Seremban, Malaysia, his Malaysian-American family he met during his college years, his Hunt Oil peers, and countless others he met along his journey.

Above all, Chek will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his sharp intellect, and his unwavering commitment to helping others. His loss leaves a profound void, but his memory will be cherished forever.
