Cecilia Perez Velez

Cecilia was the youngest of nine children and grew up in a loving, tight-knit family. On December 31, 1957, she married Antulio Perez, and together they raised three sons. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always prioritized her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carmelo Velez and Monserrate Velez Padin. Cecilia is survived by her beloved siblings; John A. Velez, Mercedes Velez, and Vita Velez; her sons: Carlos A. Perez, Oscar A. Perez, and Antulio Perez, Jr., as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Cecilia's kind and generous spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Visitation for Cecilia will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a Burial at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 at 1:00 PM
