Funeral services will take place at 2pm on Friday, October 18, 2013, at Lone Oak Assembly of God (406 Church Street, Lone Oak, Texas 75453) with Pastor Monty Parker and Pastor Sam Caulk officiating. Visitation will begin at 12pm on Friday at the church. Funeral services will take place at 11am on Monday, October 21, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church (1120 State Street, Fort Morgan, Colorado 80701) with Pastor Douglas Trevitchick officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery and Memory Gardens (601 W 8th Avenue, Fort Morgan, Colorado 80701). Visitation will be Monday morning at the church from 9am to 11am.Beverly was born June 1, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Spencer Voltair and Opal Aumintha (Kough) Smart. She married Harold Eugene Thompson on February 24, 1951, in Fort Morgan, Colorado. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Kenneth Smart and wife Myrtle, Belmont “Bud” Smart and wife Bessie, Harold Smart and wife Bertha, and Lloyd Smart and wife Gladys; and two sisters: Irene Thompson and husband Ode, and Virginia Snow.Those left to cherish Beverly’s memories include her husband of 62 years, Harold Eugene Thompson; five sons: Ric Thompson and wife Carol, Ray Thompson and wife Karen, Roger Thompson and wife Amy, Rob Thompson and wife Connie, and Royce Thompson and wife Tammy; two daughters: Ruthie Thompson and Ronda Thompson; 16 grandchildren: Raechel Green, Karissa Thompson, Courtney Jacobs, Candi Row, Carey Ray Thompson, Harold Allen Thompson, Christal Thompson, Jason Thompson, Daisy Thompson, Sandra Thompson, Jesse Thompson, Jarod Thompson, Derek Thompson, DJ Thompson, Brandi Tesh, and Dustin Galligan; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a brother, Bruce Smart and wife Dorothy.
