Virginia Holzer (Ginny) 91, passed away on May 3, 2017 at HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born on August 17, 1925 in Beaver, Utah to James and Edna Crosby. Ginny grew up in Beaver, UT, and after graduating High School moved to Salt Lake City, UT. After taking a job for the railroad she was transfered to Grand Junction where she met her best friend, lifelong soul mate and husband Vern Holzer.
Vern married Virginia in 1946 in Grand Junction, CO; they were happily married for 67 years. Virginia enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and putting puzzles together.
Virginia was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Vern Holzer and Daughter Sharon Hoops
Virginia is survived by her sister Joy Shupe of Ogden, UT
son Ron (Nanette) Holzer of Littleton, CO; her grandchildren Merrick Hoops, Christopher Holzer, Melissa (Bob) Stewart, and Tildon Hoops; great-grandchildren Austin, Ashleigh, Alexandria, and Bryan.

A celebration of Virginia life will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, 448 S Camp Road, Grand Junction, CO on Saturday June 24, at 11:00 am.
