She spent her childhood between Salt Lake City, UT with her parents and Grand Junction, CO with her grandparents. She was a fun, loving child who was full of life. Always running around, playing with her sister and side-kick cousin and many, many friends.
She met the love of her life Anthony D. Salazar and together they raised their four wonderful children. She loved being a mother and just being with her family.
She loved listening to music and dancing (she was always the life of the party), floating down the river, camping, fishing, with family and friends. Tiger-lilies, monkeys, pineapples, and potato chips. She just loved to have fun and making memories that we all will cherish forever.
Anthony always gave Renaye the very best, he spoiled her. Anything she asked for he gave her, and her grandparents, parents and sisters can never thank him enough for never leaving her side.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony D. Salazar, their four children, Antonio D. Salazar, Jr., Michael Louis Salazar, Divonna Aragon, and Princess Alivia Renaye Salazar, and their fur baby Yoki. Her grandparents Edward and Jennie Maes, parents Tony and Michelle Medina, her three sisters- Alva, Jeni, and Alia. One side kick cousin Karlos Robles. Her nieces Amerie and Brianne, nephew Eddie Murray, three aunts Mary Castaneda-Delgado, Octavia Medina and Nikole Lopez. Numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
A visitation with her family will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 6-7PM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. A rosary service will take place following the visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
There will be a pot-luck dinner following mass in the church hall. Food can be dropped off before Mass. Please no coconut dishes, since Princess Alivia is allergic. Please also have onions and cilantro on the side. Thank you to everyone in advance! Please bring your very best dish to share because our Nayebuggy deserves the very best!
