Steve was born in Perryton, TX, on March 1st, 1958, to Art and Claudia Boese. His early life consisted of typical boyhood shenanigans with his brothers on the farm. About the time he started junior high, he moved with his family to Arvada, Colorado. He enjoyed using his vocal talents in the school choir. He also enjoyed dirt biking and playing basketball, which he had quite a talent for. Steve had a huge heart, and his family was very important to him. Every time he talked to his mom on the phone, he would begin the conversation by saying, “I love my mom!”
Steve was often heard saying, “Jesus said He’s got this." If he were able to say something to us today, we believe he would tell you about his Lord, Jesus Christ. He would say that God the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love him (and each of us) SO MUCH that God sent Jesus to save us from our sinfulness and restore our relationship with Him.
“God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Art Boese, daughter, Jocelyn Boese, and son, Mark Boese.
He is survived by his wife, Adele Bulauan Boese; daughter, Jenneilyn B. (Darie); sons, Jefferson B. (Nheri), and Jonathan B.
