Owen would visit his spouse and son at Memorial Gardens of the Valley over the the time I've worked at DHS daily until COVID and as his health declined. We take walks in the cemetery and would often see him. Staff at the cemetery would clear snow to the headstone and often visit with him as would I and others from DHS. He was such a kind man and I always looked forward to visiting with him when he was there, he had a great sense of humor. I know he was ready to be with his family again and now he is. He will definitely be missed and I think of him every time I go on a walk.  My heart and thoughts go out to his family, friends and those that were fortunate enough to know him. Rest In Peace brother. - Fellow Veteran.
