Norma Eulee Ashby

Norma was born on September 12, 1930, in Grand Junction, to James L. and Gladys E. (Wyckoff) Vincent. She spent her childhood in Grand Junction and Palisade and graduated from Grand Junction High School. Norma was a resident of Grand Junction for 60 years, and also lived in Denver and Montrose.

Norma married Eldon H. Ashby on November 25, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was previously married to Marshall E. Brown. Both precede her in death. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and School of Messiah. In her spare time she enjoyed creating beautiful flower arrangements, working with ceramics, and tending her flower garden.

Norma is survived by her son, Norman H. (Phyllis Mitchell) Brown, of Grand Junction; daughter, Marsha (Jim) Brodak, of Grand Junction; sister, Diane Holbrook, of Elizabeth, Colorado; grandchildren, Valerie (James) Liebbe, Logan (Amber) Brodak, Greg Brodak, Genna (Alan) Holt, and Eric (Katie) Brown; and great-grandchildren, Anna, Ella, Eli, Asher, Tyson, Lucy, Sam, Wyatt, Owen, Macy, Marshall and Marley.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 10 at 12 p.m. at the Lutheran Church and School of Messiah 840 N. 11th Street. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a committal service to follow at Memorial Gardens.
