Nancy D Martinez

Nancy Della Martinez, age 84, of Grand Junction, CO passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, CO. Nancy was born on July 12, 1939 in Trinidad, CO to Manuel Gonzalez and Manuelita Ortega Gonzalez. Throughout her life she lived in Colorado Springs, CO, Las Vegas, NV, Montrose, CO, Canistota, SD, and Grand Junction, CO, and worked as a Housekeeper. She enjoyed spending her time with people and she loved everyone who came into her life. She was an avid collector of dolls, angels, and saint figurines.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers; her four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her son, Felix Martinez (Sherry) of Las Vegas, NV; her daughters, Joyce Knotts (Dove) of Sioux Falls, SD, Janell Steele (Lon) of Parker, CO, Paula Pulse (Troy) of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jackie Kerchner (Tony) of Grand Junction, CO; 14 Grandchildren; and 32 Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, CO on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 1:00pm.
