Born on July 2, 1947, in Santa Cruz, New Mexico Manuel Martinez was the third youngest of 14 children born to Noverto and Perfecta Martinez. He is preceded in death by both parents, six brothers, and four sisters.
He is survived by his children, Domonic (Jenn) Martinez of Cave Springs, AR, and Dana (Jesus) Amezcua of Grand Junction, CO, and his grandson, Donovin (Kaylin O’Malley) Martinez from Centennial, Co. He is also survived by his sister Clara (Juan) Cabrera from New Plymouth, ID, his brother Jose (Pauline) Martinez from Florissant, CO, and his brother Phillip Martinez from New Plymouth, ID.
Manuel will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his unwavering commitment to helping others. A kind and generous man, he always put others before himself.
A memorial service for Manuel will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Callahan Edfast Mortuary, located at 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colorado 81505.
