Born on November 14, 1964, in Oxnard, California, Lori was the daughter of Billy Dean and Jennie Amelia Perry. She spent her formative years in Palmdale, California, and graduated from Palmdale High School in 1982. Following high school, Lori attended Antelope Valley College in Palmdale, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree.
Lori married Walter Bruce Boyer on September 7, 2001, in Grand Junction, Colorado, where she had been a resident since November 14, 1988. Lori worked as a Surgical Neurophysiologist and was known for her dedication and expertise in her field.
Outside of her professional life, Lori enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including crafting, snorkeling, and camping. She cherished spending time with her family, baking cookies with her grandchildren, and traveling on special trips.
She is also remembered fondly by her family and friends for her vibrant spirit and loving presence.
Lori leaves behind her husband, Walter “Bruce” Boyer of Grand Junction, Colorado, two daughters, Rachael Morris and Sarah Holding both of Grand Junction, Colorado, a brother, Ronald Perry of Brighton, Colorado. Lori also leaves behind five grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A visitation time will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM, August 30, 2024 followed by a 10:00 AM funeral service at Martin Mortuary. The family will proceed to Orchard Mesa Cemetery where Lori will be placed at rest.
