Leslie Alvida Davis of Grand Junction, Colorado was born August 10, 1926 and passed away at the age of 95 on the evening of December 10, 2021.
Leslie grew up on the “Family Farm” in Joes, Colorado. He retired from Equitable Life, Agricultural Loans, where he followed his passion working with farmers and ranchers of Western Colorado, Eastern Utah, and Southern Wyoming during his working years.
He served as a WWII Veteran in the Navy, on the USS Saratoga, for Her final voyage to Bikini Atoll during Operation Crossroads, in 1946.
Preceding him in passing are his wife, Dorothy Jean, his son, Alan Kent, and his daughter, Susan Renee. Left to cherish his memories, are his daughter, Linda Hockins, his son, Robert Davis, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Les’s life will be held at Martin Mortuary on April 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm, and then Escorted by The Patriot Guard Missing Man Procession to the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, where a Military Honors will be held at 3:00 pm.
