Jean Boothe passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the age 72, having her husband and children by her side. Jean was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her eternal companion and husband was the love of her life. The second deep love, aside from her children, were her grandchildren. She spoiled them rotten which earned her the nickname Grandma-land, as her house was where dreams really did come true. She opened her heart and home to all, and was extremely generous and kind.
Jean was born on August 1, 1949 in Alamosa, CO to David and Shirley Wilson.
Survivors include her beloved husband James Boothe whom she married on June 6, 1982; her son Tim (Andrea) Gard of Incline Village, NV; her daughter Shannon (Todd) Gannon of Grand Junction, CO; her brothers William (Marilyn) Wilson of Glendale, AZ, Jerry (Martha) Wilson of Tucson, AZ, and Lysle (Sally) Wilson of Alamogordo, NM; her sister Carrie (Kenneth) Wylie of Mesa, AZ; Grandchildren Michael, Aly (Kris), Joshua (Megan), Steven, Logan, Tyler and 2 Great Grandchildren Gavin and Maddox.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Kristi Matney; and her brother James Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2949 US 50, Grand Junction, CO 81503 on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11am. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
