James Patrick McFarland

James was born on March 17, 1935 to James and Margaret McFarland in Remer, Minnesota. James was 78 years old. He passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital. After graduating from Fruita Monument High School, James went into the Air Force and was stationed in England for two years. James worked for the US Bureau of Reclamation, specializing in surveying and water hydrolics.

James is preceded in death by his Father James E. McFarland. James mother Margaret McFarland who is 102 years old is still living in Grand Junction, Colorado. James also is survived by his son: Henry Lee of Paradox, Colorado and two daughters: Karen Timmer of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Kelley McFarland of Grand Junction, Colorado. Two Brothers: Robert McFarland of Orchard Mesa, Colorado and Steven McFarland of Benson, Arizona. One Sister: Peggy Bray of Grand Junction, Colorado. James also leaves behind 4 grandchildren to cherish his memories: Randee, Cory, Nathen, and Tabitha Timmer, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

A Funeral Service on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00am at the Pear Park Baptist Church, 3102 E Road, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81504. A Graveside Services will follow the Funeral Service at Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
