Earnest Dean Mease

Earnest was born to John Franklin Mease and Mattie Ada Mitchell who both preceded Earnest in death.

Earnest spent his childhood in Walsh, Colorado and attended Walsh High School.

Earnest was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 9 for 45 years.

He was a resident of Grand Junction, Colorado for 57 years.

He was previously married to Bonnie Hamilton Mease.

Earnest was in the Army from September 1956 to September 1958 and was a Marksman (rifle) and received a “Good Conduct” medal.

He had a special interest in “Bronc Riding”.

Earnest is survived by his son Fred Mease of Arvada, Colorado and daughters Anna Mease and Susan Mease, both of Grand Junction, Colorado and brother Harold Mease of Levelland, Texas.

Earnest’s daughter Janet Mease predeceased Earnest in death.

Earnest was also predeceased in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters; James Mease, Donald Mease, William Mease, Robert Mease, Eunice Ford, Elenor Watkins, Mary Taylor, Pauline Murray and Wesley Mease.
