Dorothy Marie Day-Larson passed away at Capella of Grand Junction on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Dorothy was born August 9, 1931, in Yuma, CO, to Opal Leon Atkinson (Stebbins) and Amos Dee Atkinson. She is survived by daughters Starla S (LeRoy) Spaulding of Rifle, CO, and Paula L. (William) Inscho of Bend, OR, and step-son Nolen (Kelly) Larson of Broomfield, CO; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Brouillette of Colorado Springs, CO, and Sharri Cook of Arvada, CO. She was preceded in death by son Phil Dee Jackson, and husband Kay Russell Larson.

A short service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado on Thursday, September23rd, 2021, at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can made to HopeWest Hospice Care Center or Capella or Grand Junction.
