Carol was born June 10th, 1931, in Pueblo, Colorado to Theodore Allen “Tim” and Margaret Pinkard Keithley. The family moved to Silt, where she spent her childhood, and then moved to Grand Junction in 1943.
Carol attended Appleton High School where she met the love of her life, Galen Johnston White, at a basketball game. Galen and Carol were married on June 18th, 1948, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. They were married for 59 years. Together they raised 5 sons and one daughter. They spent 10 years living in Granbury, Texas and made many lifelong friends. In 1988, they returned to Grand Junction. Carol lived her life to the fullest through chatting with friends and family and collecting antiques. She was kind, giving, nurturing, and thoughtful. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary or a special date. She could spend hours telling stories about her life. She will be remembered for her selflessness and love for all. Whenever she was out, she always found something to give to someone. She had a heart of gold and always put her family first, and she never had anything bad to say about anyone. Carol loved her family dearly and was loved dearly by her family.
