Benjamin Martin Burton

Ben Martin Burton was born to John A. and Rose Emma Burton June 10, 1945, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was a lifelong resident and graduated from high school in Grand Junction. He and Bonnie Benninger were married on June 5, 1965, in Grand Junction.

Ben was Vice President and concrete division manager at G.J. Pipe and Regional operations coordinator at Precast Concepts.

He passed away at home surrounded by the love of his life, Bonnie, and four daughters on March 5, 2015.

Ben loved golf, hunting, fishing, camping, and boating.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of Grand Junction; four daughters, Michele (Robert) Finney of Grand Junction, Monica Burton of Grand Junction, Kassie Burton of Grand Junction, and Alisha (Matt) Ritterbush of Chadron, Nebraska; two sisters, Shirley Hamilton of Fruita, and Kathy Matson of Arvada, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Laci (Chris Learned) Finney, Trevor Finney, Brandon Burton, Ariauna Beulah, all of Grand Junction, Reese Ritterbush, Rex Rittrerbush, and Rylan Ritterbush of Chadron, Nebraska; and one great-grandchild, Kylynn Learned, of Grand Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Rose, a brother, Jack Burton, and sister, Joann Peterson.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Clarion Inn, 755 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506.
