Alice L. Smith

Alice was born to T.A. and Alma Hampton on September 15, 1930 at Montrose, CO. She spent her childhood in Montrose, and eventually came to marry Audie Smith in 1955. Together they moved to Grand Junction, Colorado and raised a family. Alice loved gardening, canning, walking, and dancing. However, nothing could ever compare to the absolute love she had for her husband and family. She was a loving wife and mother, and always put the needs of her family before her own. She will be deeply missed by many.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Audie. She is survived by her son; Darryl A. (Tracy) Smith of Loma, Colorado, her daughters; Debra Fitzgerald and Linda (Kelly) Rogers of Grand Junction, Colorado, her brother; Dale Hampton of Mack, Colorado, her sister; Patricia Niess of Grand Junction, Colorado, five grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Grand View Cemetery in Montrose, at 3pm. Online condolences may be left at MartinMortuary.com
