Leona Loita McLean (85) of Hartline, Washington passed away Saturday morning, September 25th, 2021 in Grand Coulee, Washington. Leona was born Monday, March 2nd, 1936 in Spokane, Washington to John Levi & Eunice Leona Sweet-Gabbert. A lifelong rancher, Leona was active in the Washington Cattlemen’s Association, “4-H”, “FFA” and the Spokane County Fair Board. She was an avid reader who once received a note from the Grand Coulee Public Library asking if she would like to start re-reading their inventory of books, as Leona had already read every book in the library! Leona enjoyed Sewing, Quilting as well as other crafts and loved her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by both of her parents; Leona’s legacy lives on through her children: Larry Wolfe (Lanell), Randy Robinson (Kathy), Jeff Robinson (Kristi), Debra Lindgren (John) and Cole Wolfe (Kayla), nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and dear friends: Duane Dormaier and Teresa Raisor.
