WELKER, MARGARET ALICE age 93, died Friday August 24, at the Oaks at Woodfield. Visitation will be Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1 -8pm at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Funeral will be Monday August 27, 2018 at 11am with Pastor Donald Albright officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Margaret was born September 2, 1924 in Flint, MI to parents Dewey and Ella (Hill) Jones. She was known far and wide for 'Tuesday night dinner' at her home in Grand Blanc where family and friends gathered on Tuesday evenings for the past 25 years for food and good natured family togetherness. Many world problems were solved around her table. Surviving are children Tom (Dessie) Welker, Charles (Karen) Welker, Linda ( Ed) Hechlik, Debra (Roger) Jaeger, and Robert (Barb) Welker, grandchildren: Lesa (Ken) Carver, Cindy (Phil) Whitcomb, Stephanie (Franc) Guido, Ed (Sarah) Hechlik, Susan Hechlik Kaderle, Hailey Jaeger, Cole Jaeger, Randi Jaeger, and Carter Jaeger; great-grandchildren: Anna Selvy, Andrew Carver, Leah Carver, Katie Carver, Nathaniel Whitcomb, Zachariah Whitcomb, Joshua Whitcomb, Sam Guido, Alexandra Guido, Edju Hechlik, Emma Hechlik, Jakob Kaderle, and Greyson Kaderle; great-great grandchildren: Kamden Selvy, and Greyson Selvy; sister, Donna.
