DICKINSON, DONALD EUGENE. age 69, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at McLaren, Flint Hospital. Donald was born November 6, 1945 in Charlotte, MI to parents John and Dorothy (Knapp) Dickinson. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Navy. Donald was a member of the VFW Chevrolet Post #3087. He love to play golf and pool, traveling with his wife and spending time with his dogs, . Donald retired from the Flint Board of Education as a teacher after 30 years of service. Surviving are his wife Roberta; sister Anne Dickinson; brothers John “Duane” (Barbara) Dickinson, David (Katie) Dickinson. Preceded in death by his parents. Committal Service and Military Honors will be held 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442. Arrangements by the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Donations may be made to the C.O.P.D. Foundation.
