Suzanne M Popaditch

Suzanne is survived by her husband Robert A. Popaditch of Longwood, Her son, Robert “Scott” (Gwen) of Maitland. Her grandchildren, Robert “Thomas” of Maitland and Gwendolyn “Michelle” of Tampa, her brother Scott Day of West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence A. Day and Enid C. Day.

Suzanne was born on June 6, 1945 in Detroit, MI to Lawrence and Enid Day. She attended Western MI University where she met and fell in love with her sweetheart Bob. They moved to Chicago IL raising their only child, Scott. In 1979 they moved to Winter Park, FL where Bob & Suzanne opened and operated Thrifty Scott Warehouse Foods.

Suzanne was a member of the Ombudsman Council of Florida focusing on the needs and well-being of the elderly in long-term care facilities. Suzanne was a dedicated member of Bible Study Fellowship International and was a supporter of her local Alzheimer’s Association chapter. Suzanne was an amazing cook, avid reader and scrabble champ who enjoyed working in the garden of their North Carolina mountain home, entertaining family and friends and spoiling her beloved grandchildren.
