She was born in Lebanon, Virginia on December 7, 1935 to the late Douglas & Alice (Richardson) Jones. Ruby lived a life full of energy, managing catering events, and eventually owning her own business in the cleaning industry. In her free time, she loved to golf, work in the garden, and sing with the other Singing Christmas Trees in the annual festivities. The last chapter of her life living in The Villages was full of fun and friendship. We will always remember the life & love she brought to us.
Ruby was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel Glover and Beatrice Sutherland, brother, Earl Jones, and twins, Clarence Jones and Clarice Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Tucker, Alice Shields, and son, Frank Lowe; grandchildren, Justin Low, Candace Terwillegar, and Sierra Lowe; and great grandchildren, Haven Low and Skylar Low.
Please join us for a Celebration of Ruby’s Life this Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 11am, with a short time of receiving friends at 10am for a closed casket visitation.
