She was born in Miami, Florida, daughter of the late Melvin and Ellen (Harvey) Dayhoff.
Mildred made her career in the medical field as Office Administrator and Manager. Her hobbies were watching football games and listening to country & gospel music. When she was not indoors, she enjoyed the great outdoors by gardening and traveling to mountains as well as beaches. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Orlando, FL since the 1960’s. Mildred will be remembered as a kind, caring, and loving, open minded person. She always put the family first and helped in any way possible. Even In her last days, Mildred was sharp as a tack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Thompson Jr., and siblings, Mary Ellen Dayhoff Rollo, William E Dayhoff, Thomas O Dayhoff, and Fred E Dayhoff.
Mildred is survived by her sons, Daniel A. Thompson, Joseph E. Thompson (Sandra J. Thompson), and David M. Thompson; granddaughters, Amanda Thompson and Shannon M. Brown-Blake; and great grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, Jyson, Gage, Nekoda, Zoe, Emma, Kyla, and Sophia.
