Very sad to hear of this. Was the love of my life from 1970- 1972 an no one can take that away from me, so many great memories.

Six Flags St Louis Zoo, hundreds of Letters and so much love during that time. Such a Free Spirit, an loved me back. I will miss her!

Karen was a joy to get to know, even though it was too short of time together. Her love for her family and caring for others around her was her focus over her illness. She seemed fulfilled with her life achievements of career and family. Rest now in peace. You will be missed on Fresno Drive.

Thankful, for a song Karen taught me an the how to rise and pray. The words she sang, "Time to rise and shine an give God the glory, glory. "

I did not know Karen but by her works, her family, I came to know that she was an incredible mother and grandmother. Listening to the testimonials online,  by her wonderful children, filled in the blanks for me that this was a woman of Faith Love and Joy.

May her soul and the souls of all the Faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. ++++

There are so many things about Karen to remember and relish. One of the most special memories is how she worked with young people at Southlake high school with  FCA. .
She was such a “cool” Lady, that she could tell the kids all about Jesus in her own special way. My son Bo told me just recently that she was one of the kindest and sweetest ladies he had ever known. That made my heart happy. She also went to black mountain with us to help with the kids program one summer. It was a fun memory. We all were inspired by Karen and can take her Legacy and intertwine it into our lives. She fought the hard fight, and we are all proud and honored to have known Karen Creasy.

Aunty Karen, your love, warmth and kindness filled every room, making everyone's day better. All of my best memories in America had you at the heart of them, like this, when you took me to my first line dancing night. Trips across the pond won't be the same without you, you were the best Aunty I could have asked for. Rest in peace, you will forever be missed, I love you! ❤️

Sending Amy and Lisa and family condolences.  I did not know your mom, but the women you have become speaks volumes about her!  Her legacy lives on in you and your children.  Thinking about you at this most difficult time.  She is proud of all of you!!

One of the most remarkable women I've met, Karen extended a hand of friendship when I was 20 and she was 24. I needed a friend, and she taught me how to be one. She prayed for people rather than criticizing them. Karen believed in me and encouraged me. I have carried her love in my heart throughout my life. I will continue to pray for her family's great loss. I'm so grateful I will see her again one day.

My cousin Karen is the center of some of my earliest memories as a young girl. I looked up to her and thought she was just the coolest. She was a sweet soul and will be dearly missed.  Rest well.

To be Karen’s friend was an amazing gift. This was no part time, when she felt like it kind of friendship. It was a full on, big hugs, laughing/snorting, praying, in your life kind! And I will miss her so very much. Even through her treatments, if she wasn’t at the YaYa lunches, you felt the void. You missed all that she brought to the table. Being a mother of one, she totally amazed me how she loved each one of you so fully and so differently. Somehow, she just seemed to know what you each needed from her. She wasn’t perfect, but she was genuine, honest and so full of love and Jesus! I’m so glad she was my friend- she blessed my life. Praying God blesses each of you with His presence and grace. She loved you all so very much!

Karen always brought a smile to her Aunt Margie and me here in St. Louis.  She fought cancer for so long that I thought Karen was immortal and of course she lives in her wonderful family.  As the twins understand, your Mom is golden!  Y'all will always have friends and family here in St. Louis.  Aunt Margie and I send love!

A prayer for peace to the family from a friend that knew  Karen 42 years ago. During those 4 years she shared her home with a group of young adults from the Assembly of God in Orange Park Florida.   She was always a role model for us.   Mark Effinger

My family has know Karen and her wonderful family for many years.  Her smile and laugh would light up a room.  Kind, loving, caring, beautiful inside and out….not enough adjectives to describe someone so special.

I knew Karen (and Lex) back around 1980-1982 in Orange Park, FL. when I was a new Christian.  She was like a Spiritual mom and mentor to myself and many other young Christians.  She was a loving, supportive, authentic Christian woman that helped many of us on our journey.....   I will always value her influence and love her memory.  I rejoice that she has gone ahead to her eternal reward.  I love you Karen.

Karen's first priority always her children and loving on them.

I Loved sharing “Grammy” duties with you and all the long distant calls and text .  So many laughs.  I Will  always treasure our friendship, You will be missed but never forgot.  You fought so hard, Rest now my friend , your home with our Lord.

Even when she was not feeling well, she made it a priority to gather when we could all be together.  She was selfless that way.

She wasn’t a big “girl’s weekend” kind of gal, but she went anyway.  We played cards, knitted, and laughed until we cried…all weekend!

The first time I met Karen, in 1998 at a Fellowship of Christam Athletes event planning meeting, it took about 10 minutes to know we would be best of friends for the rest of our lives.  That we were.  The way she loves and serves her family, even in her final days, is no less than awe-inspiring .  My son, Jeremy, recently told me that she had a “profound effect” on him by how she related to him in his HS years (especially when he teased Sara).  FYI, her phenomenal sense of humor anchored that relationship with Jeremy.    Whether molding young people by demonstrating God’s love and grace in her life or cutting up at weekly lunches with us Yayas,  she was authentic and selfless and fierce and hilarious!!  The memories of her infectious laugh (with the occasional snort) will bring a smile and yes, a tear also.  Until we meet again KC.  I’m a better friend, mom, child of God because of you.  Creasy Family, you loved her so well.  We’ll be holding you close in our daily 12:00PM Yaya prayers, even if you don’t see our texts. 😉  Bonnie
