I am so sorry for your loss. John was the best Hugger ever! He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes when he spoke of  “my bride”. John was always in service for the Lord - making coffee at the church, cleaning tables, greeting people, serving as a Deacon, and sometimes challenging a decision if it didn’t look or sound like it was God centered. I remember John’s Bible as being worn and weathered. It had served him well. It was his Compass in Life. John was a blessing to many and we were blessed to have him as our friend.

This wonderful man was always there for my elderly Mom when anything needed repair on her home. John always had great humor and patience. I will NEVER FORGET the HUGE HELP he was to me, when just after my Mom broke her hip 12 years ago last month, our family made the decision to sell Mom's home and have her move in with me out of State. John was there at every turn, advising me on repairs I could make myself, assisting me with those I couldn't, and calming my fears about showing the home to folks when repairs were ongoing...John was SO APPRECIATED, AND HE WILL BE MISSED!! Our family will keep his family in our prayers...❤🙏❤
