Jack dedicated much of his life to the service of others, both as a man of faith and a distinguished medical professional. Jack served as a lieutenant in the United States Air Force, a role he undertook with honor and dedication. After his military service, he pursued his passion for medicine and graduated from the University of Miami Medical School. He established a successful career as an orthopedic surgeon, practicing at Orlando Regional Medical Center for 40 years, where he was revered by colleagues and patients alike for his expertise and compassion. A devout member of the First United Methodist Church in Orlando, Jack's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was a man of God and described by those who knew him as kind and caring. Jack's personal life was rich with love and joy. Outside of his professional and spiritual commitments he found pleasure in hobbies such as golf and saltwater fishing, activities that reflected his love of nature and relaxation.
He is survived by his wife, Moena Anthony Gresham; his children Keith Gresham, Robin Gresham and Katryna Elmer & his grandchildren John, Lindsey, James, Keith and Kelsey; and preceded in death by his parents, Lela Ruth Gresham and Alva George Gresham Jr. and his siblings Robert Lee Gresham and Ruth Elizabeth Lewis.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Orlando on Friday October 18th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Jack's life was a testament to his values of faith, family and service and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
