Howard Bernstein, 86, of Longwood, Florida passed away on June 27, 2014. He was born on October 18, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Meyer and Sara Bernstein. Howard was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a food broker who enjoyed gardening, playing checkers online, and doing card and magic tricks for others. Howard was the president of the Mid Florida Alfa Romeo Owner’s Club for 11 years. Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Gladys; sons, Gary (Susan) and Jim (Traci) Bernstein; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Kennett, Allie, Joseph and Jamie Bernstein.
