Eunice Roberta Tibbetts

Eunice R. Tibbetts, 92, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many died on December 8, 2024. Eunice and her husband Bill, the love of her life, had a large and loving family consisting of 6 children, Michael and wife Patty and son Chris; Kathleen and husband Ken and children Kelly, Kimi and Michael; Timothy and wife Leslie and children Jonathan, Jordan and Tommy; David and wife Kim and son Will; Andrew and wife René; Gregory and children Patrick and Cassie; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.

Eunice was always proud to share her career as a registered nurse, which she pursued even as a volunteer after she retired. Once she was honored as Volunteer of the Year for her service! Her active lifestyle included a passion for world travel and even scuba diving with her husband Bill in her younger years! But make no mistake, age never seemed to limit her! She had a joyful spirit that filled the room and she lived life to the fullest spending her days visiting and travelling with family, playing poker with her friends, watching her two favorite football teams Notre Dame and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and caring for any stray cat that wanted to stop by!

Her faith was integral to her life which speaks volumes of her capacity for kindness, positivity, looking for the best in others, forgiveness and love. Eunice was an active member of St Mary’s of the Lakes Catholic Church where a funeral mass will take place followed by burial service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida.

A mass service for Eunice will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St Mary Of The Lakes Church, 218 Ocklawaha, Eustis, FL 32726. A public visitation will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A graveside service will occur Friday, December 13, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
