She was born in Clarendon Jamaica on January 15, 1957 to the late Henry Reid and Mavis Perry.
Rose had a deep-rooted passion for gardening, often seen tending to her beloved flowers and nurturing her bountiful fruit trees. Her garden was a testament to her love for nature, bursting with vibrant blooms and sweet, ripe produce that she shared generously with friends, neighbors, and anyone in need. Rose's green thumb was matched only by her culinary talents; she delighted in cooking and was always ready to prepare a meal for those who found themselves at her table, ensuring that no one ever left hungry.
Rose had a unique gift for connecting with people. She never met a stranger, greeting everyone with her warm smile and infectious laughter. Her lively conversations and genuine interest in others made her a cherished friend and confident to many. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special, and her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and delicious food.
In her passing, Rose leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity. She is survived by her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched through her selfless acts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Second Harvest Food bank/local food bank, Harbor House or your local women's shelter, reflecting Rose's lifelong commitment to helping those in need. (Scroll for links)
