Charles Donald Keener, 91, of Ft. Myers, Fl.; passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2012. He was born in Pikeville, TN. on March 11, 1921 to Waymon and Dovie Keener. He was predeceased by his wife Beulah, daughter Virginia Keener and son Jerry Keener. He is survived by his daughters Ruth Matthes,Lyn Matheson, Judy Lockmeyer, Ann Anderson and step daughter Linda Griffith, his sons, Perry Keener, Henry Keener, Paul Keener, Larry Keener and step son Sammy Mounce, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday October 6, 2012 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha. The family would like donations to be made to Hope Hospice at www.hopehcs.org or if you prefer you may send flowers to the service. Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
