I got to know Barbara recently, after her many cancer surgeries, and found her to be a most loving and caring person despite what she had gone through, herself. I felt her great love and kindness in our short period of knowing one another and feel blessed that I had the opportunity to meet her. 

She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by all.

My thoughts are with the family. Barb was a fine lady and will always remember her laugh. Rest in peace friend.

I worked with Barbara for a few years at Rosendale, NY. She was a good person and I will say a prayer for her.

So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing.  She was agreat inspiration to me and always complimented her employees.  She was the model of how a supervisor should be.  I was only blessed to have her for a year after she moved from White Plains back in 1987 yet my life was so changed by having known her. May she rest in peace and she is happy now that she and her John are back together.  My sympathy to her family.  You were blessed if you knew her.
