Marshall Wayne Petty, age 86 of Avondale, AZ died February 16, 2019, in Goodyear, AZ. He was born April 10, 1932, in Fort Worth, TX to Curtis and Willie Dee Petty. He served in the US Coast Guard from 1948 to 1969 achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Marshall is survived by his wife, Antoinette Petty, daughter, Barbara Wunderlich; sons, Joseph and Steven Petty; sister, Barbara Dunn; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Petty, Jr. A niche-side service will be held at 10:00 am, March 2, 2019, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 9925 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ 85392.
