Vincent Vidger

Vincent H. Vidger, age 79 of Goodyear, Arizona died March 4, 2014 at home.  He was born March 8, 1934 to Elmer and Mary Margaret Vidger in Denver, Colorado.  He served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1959.  He retired from AT&T after 41 years of service.  He married Katherine “Katy” Vidger on April 13, 1996 in Littleton, Colorado.  Survivors include his wife Katy; sons: Vincent Jr. (Dorice) of Littleton, Colorado; Paul A. (Teresa) of Castlerock, Colorado; brother Jerry (Dusty) of Englewood, Colorado; grandchildren: Natasha, Tatyana, Anastacia, Alexandra, Cordon and Brooke.  He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Clifford and a sister, Mary Lola.  Vince spent his last few years in Pebble Creek where he was a beloved friend and neighbor.  He will be sorely missed. His friends lovingly referred to him as the “Mayor” of Unit 33.

A memorial mass will be held Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  The family suggests donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas School or Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
