Vickie Lora Haldane

Vickie Lora Haldane, 59, of Goodyear, Arizona, died October 6, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona of cancer. She was born March 3, 1956, to John H. Johnson, Jr. and Beulah (Vanderpool) Johnson in Long Beach, California. Vickie worked at several military bases in California, Kentucky, and Arizona as a daycare manager, bartender, and entertainment director. She loved her enlisted kids. She organized talent shows, concerts and other events for them and their families. She loved horses, adopted several rescue animals, and made sure everyone in the family could ride.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Haldane, 4 children, son Chad Hanchett (Candy) of Surprise, daughter Kelly Frederick of Goodyear, son Scott Moss (Pamela) of Apache Junction, and son Matt Haldane of Shenzhen, China; 2 siblings, sister Gail Parks of Hemet, California and brother Kenneth Johnson of Portland, Oregon; and 7 grandchildren who were the love of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beulah Johnson, and her brothers, Larry LaRue and John Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Friday, October 16, 2015, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ 85338
