Stella Ozuna Moya

Stella Ozuna Moya, 49, went home to be with our Lord and Savior in heaven on Sept. 17, 2015. The Lord blessed us with her on Sept. 17, 1966 and gave her angel wings on her 49th birthday. She fought a 3 ½ year courageous battle against breast cancer.

Stella was born in Salinas, CA; raised in Cashion, AZ; a 1985 Tolleson Union High School graduate and a graduate of Maricopa Beauty College.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dennis Moya, Sr; daughter Priscilla Moya; sons Dennis Jr, Matthew and Armando Moya; and grandchildren Jasmyne and Bryson. She is also survived by her parents Armando & Frances Ozuna; sister Cynthia Ozuna; and brother Raymond Ozuna, Sr.

Stella was a talented artist who loved painting beautiful works of art as she listened to her favorite music…oldies, old school and Prince. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and loved to sing for family and friends.

Stella will always be remembered for her kind and giving heart, compassion, sense of humor, beautiful paintings, a keen eye for collectibles and making the best green chile, but she will mostly be remembered for loving her family and friends with all her heart.

She will be missed dearly but we thank God she is no longer suffering. She’s singing in heaven’s choir now. Stella, you will always be in our hearts and our many fond memories. Love you always, until we meet again, rest in peace.
