Roberto Mendoza

Roberto Padilla Mendoza, at the age of 76 passed away peacefully on January 18th 2014, at his home in Buckeye AZ.  He was born on May 4th 1937 in Nogales AZ, a family of 13. Survivors include Nena, Francis, Olga, Pete, Guillermo and Hector.  Roberto was married to Esther Galindo whom has 6 surviving children, Robert Jr., Andrew, Daniel, Catherine, Rebecca, and Maria Antoinette.  He also has 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Roberto resided in Buckeye AZ for 44 years, worked as a Forman in construction, handyman and rancher.  He always loved family gatherings music, dancing, outdoors and quick to share a story or mentored those who shared his interest.  Roberto is no longer with us physically; his love, kindness, generosity and spirit will live in the hearts of those who knew him.  He will be missed more than words will ever be able to express.  Services and visitation will be held from 9am to 12pm, Saturday, February 8th 2014 at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear AZ.  Burial will follow at Sunwest Cemetery in El Mirage AZ.  Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
