Robert Heimsoth

Robert (Bob) Heimsoth, 79 of Goodyear AZ, passed away on October 1, 2016, as a result of a long battle with heart disease.  He is survived by his loving wife Beverly of 52 years, children Lane (Amy), Leah (Edward), Lance, and his grandchildren Sophie, Mac, Calder, Simon, Maci and Jahni. He also leaves behind countless family members and friends.

Bob was born and raised in northwest Iowa, he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Honor Guard.  After his military service he moved to Hartley, IA raised a family and worked at CD farm service, he and his wife then moved to Goodyear AZ, he worked at Bio-Flora Chemicals and Wilbur-Ellis.  Bob loved spending time with family and friends, he also enjoyed playing golf and being engaged in his children’s activities.

Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.   Words cannot describe the depth of loss, we miss him, he will never be forgotten.

Private burial service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at Pleasantview Cemetery in Hartley, IA.  Everyone is welcome to celebrate Bob’s life at the Legion Club in Hartley, IA beginning 6:00pm Saturday, October 15th, 2016.
