Donald Ray Willis, 80, of Goodyear, AZ passed away on May 24, 2016. He was born January 28, 1936 in St. Louis, MO to Harman and Inaz (Ramsey) Willis.
Donald served in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 – 1959. He worked as a supervisor of System Analysts at Anhauser –Busch in St Louis, MO. In 1995 he moved to Goodyear, AZ to enjoy his retirement. Donald was always physically active and diligently worked out 3 days a week until he became ill. He loved playing tennis and enjoyed golf as well.
Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Roseann Willis; daughters Christine Nelson and Laura Ameiss; sister Dixie Gaudette; and four grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob Ameiss, and Grace and Elliott Nelson. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Services will be held later this fall in St. Louis, MO. The family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
