Otis L. Richey, 78, of Avondale passed away on November 21, 2011 in Avondale. He was born July 27, 1933 in Eaton, Arkansas. Otis moved to Arizona in 1952. Mr. Richey served his country in the US Army. He had served as Pastor at Peoples General Baptist Church in Glendale, AZ.
Otis is survived by his wife Dixie Richey; his daughters, Patricia Baas, Shauna Linford, and Jacquelyn Quient; his son, Mike Richey; his sisters, Irene Hawley, Martha Kamarat, Meda Barrett, and Brenda Jordan; his brothers; Carl Richey, Roger Richey, Clyde Richey and Gary Richey. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Otis will be Saturday, November 26 from 9:00am to 10:00am at the 1st Southern Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central Ave. Avondale, AZ. The service will begin at 10:00am. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona Tuesday, November 29 at 10:30am.
