Olindo Ricardo “Rick” Morielli, 68, of Goodyear, Arizona, passed away on October 8, 2024. Born on July 18, 1956, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he was the beloved son of Olindo and Olga (nee Hucajluk) Morielli, both of whom preceded him in death.
Rick is survived by his wife, Andrea Kathryn Page; his stepdaughter Kristina Archer and stepson Joshua Tittley; as well as his siblings: Olana Hastings, (Jimmy-Lee & Christian), Leza Blair, (Joshua & Montanna), John Morielli, (Jessica & Jake) and Deena Morielli. He also leaves behind two adored grandchildren, Jack and Lucas Archer, and his loyal golden retriever, Ranger.
A passionate sports fan, Rick was an avid supporter of the Arizona Cardinals and Diamondbacks. He had a love for classic rock music, with “Tennessee Whisky” being his favorite tune. An excellent cook, he delighted family and friends with his culinary skills, mastering everything from perfectly grilled steaks to vibrant Italian dishes. His culinary expertise was enhanced by his training at BBQ school with the BBQ Pit Masters.
Rick's adventurous spirit led him to travel extensively across the United States on his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle, visiting 32 states and making memories along the way. Before moving from Ontario to Arizona in 2005, he married Andrea on August 12 of that same year. He found great fulfillment in his work as the owner of Can-ix Realty, LLC, where many of his clients became lifelong friends.
Growing up in Montreal and Toronto, Rick was known for his larger-than-life personality. He embraced life with enthusiasm, whether he was riding his motorcycle, driving fast cars, or enjoying a round of golf. His proudest moment was becoming a U.S. citizen in 2015, a testament to his love for his adopted home.
Rick lived life to the fullest, surrounded by the love of his wife, family, and furry companions. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Per Rick’s wishes, there will be no public services.
