Mildred Joann Lussky, age 98 of San Antonio, TX died May 29, 2018 in Litchfield Park, AZ. She was born October 8, 1919 in Deadwood, SD to Thomas and Ida Marie Island. Mildred earned a Registered Nurse Certificate in South Dakota on November 8, 1940. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Certificate in Public Health Nursing from the University of Colorado on August 27, 1949. She went on to receive an elementary teacher certification from Trinity University in August of 1969. Mildred is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Alfred Lussky, her parents, Thomas and Ida Marie Island, and her three brothers and two sisters.
